Our tour guide, Rachael, was great. She dressed in a fun, funky way. Very enthusiastic and demonstrative. Great historical details, but not really a "ghost walk", but fun, nonetheless. I don't need to be scared. I was particularly impressed with Rachael's interaction with a young woman who was mentally handicapped. She was excited to take pictures and see "blurry pictures and orbs". Totally patient and engaged her completely. It warmed my heart!

It was a great tour. The guide had a lot of information on history of the area. The tour was supposed to be an hour and a half. It ended up being three hours so I have to say he did a great job informing us of the history of the area and it was just a nice tour.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time to find parking. Public parking lots and meters are located on both sides of the Newport Marriott hotel.

We enjoyed our ghost tour and learning the history of ghost sightings in Newport, RI. When we were standing in front of one of the old historical sites I took 4 pictures of the exterior of the building, focusing on the upper windows. In the 3rd and 4th photos the drapes on 2 of the windows were clearly opened and there was a white face looking out in one of the windows and a light shadow in the other window. I sent the pictures to the ghost tour guide and they agreed it was a ghost! They posted the pictures on their Facebook site. My first ghost sighting!
