It was great, would do it again. Staff was amazing
I recently had the pleasure of taking a sailing tour aboard the Aquidneck schooner with Captain Matt, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped on board, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine passion for sailing that set the tone for the entire trip. Captain Matt is not only an experienced sailor but also an exceptional host. He took the time to explain the schooner's features and safety procedures, making everyone feel comfortable and at ease. His extensive knowledge of the local waters and history added an enriching layer to our journey, as he shared fascinating stories and insights about the area. The sailing itself was nothing short of magical. The Aquidneck glided gracefully across the water, and with the wind in our sails, it felt like we were part of something special. The stunning views of the coastline and the soothing sound of the waves created a serene atmosphere that was perfect for relaxation.

Meeting point
Meet at Sightsailing of Newport on Bowen’s Wharf in Newport. It is not possible to drive onto Bowen’s Wharf. You must park and walk onto it. A good address to put into your GPS is 49 America’s Cup Ave. Once you’re at 49 America’s Cup Ave, look for the very tall flagpole with all sorts of colorful flags on it. Walk to that flagpole and at the foot of the small parking look for the small house with a big blue awning that says Sightsailing. If you’re walking around, ask anyone where the Black Pearl Restaurant or 22 Bowen’s restaurants are. The meeting point is located right between them.
