Overview
Enjoy a great way to see the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and all the highlights of Lower Manhattan in just one day, including The 9/11 Memorial, Wall Street, The New York Stock Exchange, St. Paul's Chapel and The World Trade Center.
What to Expect
Save time with a pre-reserved ticket on the ferry to Liberty Island that provides boarding through the reserve ticket holders line. On your way to the ferry your expert guide will point out and explain the monuments and memorials of Battery Park that most people usually miss.

On Liberty Island go inside the pedestal and see the statue's original torch before making a short visit to the Statue of Liberty Museum where your guide will highlight all you need to know about the iconic lady. How was she made? What is she made of? Who made her? How long did it take? All these questions and more will be answered and then you'll climb to the pedestal for one of the best views that NYC has to offer.
Then stop for a once-in-a-lifetime photo with Lady Liberty before catching the ferry to Ellis Island where 12.5 million immigrants arrived. Here you'll walk in their footsteps from the Ferry Dock and into The Baggage Room. You'll visit the awe-inspiring Great Hall, walk down the Stairs of Separation and stand at the Kissing Post. At each stop you'll hear their stories of immigrants and share their fears, sadness and joy as you come to understand and appreciate the immigrant experience. Finally, you'll see the The Immigrant Wall of Honor before catching the ferry back to Battery Park.

Break for lunch, (not included) then your tour of Lower Manhattan begins with a walk along the famous NYC ticker tape parade route called the Canyon of Heroes. Here you will see: The Charging Bull Statue, Trinity Church, The New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall (where George Washington was sworn in as the first U.S. president) and The Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Next, visit St Paul's Chapel, hear how it survived the attacks 9/11 and the important role it played in the following months. You will also see other beautiful, creative memorials near The World Trade Center that you wouldn't experience on your own, and you'll visit the Fireman's Memorial - a 56-foot long bronze plaque honoring the members of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11.  You'll also pay a visit to the 9/11 Memorial to stand beside the reflecting pools. Your guide will explain all of the meaning and symbolism incorporated into the design of the pools and plaza, so you can appreciate the care and respect that was put into their design, operation and maintenance.

Along the way you'll see and hear about the new WTC complex, anchored by One World Trade Center -  the tallest building in the western hemisphere. You'll go inside the lobby of 4 World Trade Center on your way to the most recently opened section of The World Trade Center called The Oculus on your way to the entrance to One World Observatory.

Your guide does not enter the observatory with you so this portion of the visit is self-guided. You will board the highspeed "sky pod" elevators and climb over 100 floors in less than a minute.  Remember to have you camera ready for the amazing video display in the elevator. When you arrive at the observation deck you'll look back on the neighborhood, the statue and day and have a very different perspective after having wound through the streets and seen it all up close.
