  • Visit the Statue of Liberty Monument with access to the Pedestal
  • Enjoy a fully narrated and guided tour of Liberty and Ellis islands
Travel on a reserved ferry ticket to Liberty Island and enjoy a guided tour of the Statue of Liberty National Monument with Pedestal Access. Visit the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and learn about the experiences of immigrants arriving in America.
What to Expect
This 4-hour guided tour starts at Battery Park with priority boarding on the ferry to Liberty Island. On the short walk to the dock your guide will point out monuments and memorials that are often overlooked, including Fritz Koenig's Sphere, which stood at the World Trade Center and miraculously survived the attacks. You’ll board the ferry via the reserve ticket holders’ line.

When you arrive you'll head inside the Statue of Liberty Monument and see the Torch Exhibit, featuring the torch originally held by the Statue when she arrived in 1886. Then you’ll visit the Statue of Liberty Museum with your guide, who will point out important parts of the collection.

Ascend to the Statue's Pedestal and step outside for amazing views of the New York City skyline and sweeping 360-degree views of New York Harbor. Your guide will point out interesting sights and tell you about what you are seeing. Head back down downstairs for a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity with Lady Liberty.

Ellis Island and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum are the next stop on the tour. You’ll learn about the immigrants that made the long, dangerous, and uncertain voyage to America, arriving at what would soon become the most recognizable symbol of immigration in the United States.

Walk in the footsteps of the immigrants, beginning from the moment they landed through the required inspections and examinations, and up to the moment they would learn the outcome of their quest to become Americans.

The tour ends here, but you are welcome to stay on to further explore the Immigration Museum or to see a short film.
