Full description
Take a step back in time on New York’s largest sailboat. From the Clipper's spacious main deck or raised quarter deck, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island and other gems of the harbor on your two-hour excursion. Come and join us for the sailing experience of a lifetime! Order a drink (not included) from our full-service on-deck bar as we set sail, drop canvas, cut the engines, and ply the harbor like they did more than a century ago. Sit back and relax or help us raise the sails and take a turn at the helm! A replica of the lumber-hauling schooners that drove America’s industry more than a century ago, Clipper City was built in the mid-1980s using plans purchased from the Smithsonian. Designed with her new cargo in mind (i.e. you), her decks are spacious and comfortable, with ample seating, a full bar amidships, and a raised quarter deck back aft that allows for unparalleled views of the city and its harbor.

It was a little hard to find and the information on the Get Your Tour Guide site was wrong, we still had a great time. The ship was fun and the sites were awesome, it was a nice change from the usual ferry travel and very unique. I’d highly recommend it!

Perfect experience!

It was a wonderful sight seeing trip! Besides all of the awesome views and photo pops the crew members were great! Interactive and allowed us to participate if we wanted in hoisting the sails! Thought the weather was a bit cloudy and the seas a bit chippy the crew were amazing and made the trip a wonderful experience..

Ship was beautiful, crew was great & cruise was wonderful. HOWEVER, it is advertised as a 90 minute cruise but it only lasted for 65 minutes. When I asked a crew member why we didn't stay out longer, his only nonchalant response was "Yeah, we are a little early." It was a fun experience, but if it's only for an hour don't advertise it as 90 minutes.
