Originally I had a previous day that I missed because of an online error of the date. The customer support (Sarah) helped me out big time and rescheduled us for another date although it was originally not possible due to the terms of service; she was very understanding and didn't make my 70 bucks go down the drain. The day was hot, sunny, blue skies...perfect! The boat was air conditioned, clean, had 2 concession stands that served some nice goodies, pizza, hotdogs, cookies, soft drinks (alcohol) you will be comfortable! The boat ride had a really nice and cool narrator who was very informative of the landmarks and also very witty! Explained safety, life jackets, etc. The best place and "cool" shade with the best view and experience was the lower deck! you could taste the salt water in the breeze and feel the water splash on you too. If you want a tan, sunburn, or heatstroke..stay off the top deck lol! I would go on this boat ride again!
We found the pass to be worth it when we added up the costs of what we did and what it would have cost to do them by paying separately. The pdf information the pass provided on the 100 included attractions was most helpful and maybe we could have gotten that from other sources but it worked out well for us to plan our itinerary from the list of things the pass would pay for. Not all of our activities that we did in NY were covered, but that still was OK. You need to calculate how much you think you're going to do on your trip to determine if it's good for you. We did not feel like we were running all over to do things to make it worth it, but we were busy most days all day long.
It was a great day for my family. As I Said before we just walked in collected out tickets. The staff were polite and helpful. We were able to start our tour straight away. We all preferred the audio speakers rather than following a guide as we had children with us and they wanted to explore in a different order to us. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of coming to the Statue of Liberty.
What a professional tour service! Our tour guide, Jenn, turned a 4 hour tour into a wonderful and touching journey! She was courteous and knowledgeable, and so enthusiastic, we were sad when it was over. One of my favorite parts of the tour was when Jenn recited The Great Colossus by Emma Lazarus. I was in tears!
There is a very Knowledgeable Guy narrating on this trip.he points out all the main Attractions. You sail right up to the Statue of Liberty.Sail under the Fabulous Bridges. This really is a trip worth doing. There is a couple of bars on board selling cold drinks.
