Set sail with an informative wine expert, who introduces a variety of wines picked from some of America’s oldest and best-known cellars. Casual, fun and informative, you'll be guided through new tastes and flavors, expanding your palate and pairing great wines with snacks and cheese. Hand built in 1929 from native hardwoods, the 82-foot schooner Shearwater harkens back to a bygone era of yachting. One of New York City’s only floating designated landmarks, Shearwater has been taking New Yorkers and the city’s visitors sailing in the harbor since 2001. Let the historic yacht carry you along the Hudson as you admire breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline with a glass of delicious wine.

I was told that if the trip was canceled I would be notified an hour before hand. I traveled the whole way to the departure spot and walked up to where the boat was docked, in the slight rain, to find a piece of paper saying the trip was canceled.

Was cancelled and no refund.

I called ahead to confirm. Drove 2 1/2 hours to get there. Called again to confirm because of weather. Took a ferry and an uber to get there and they cancelled. Stated that they thought for 2 1/2 hours they planned on cancelling. Now they wont provide a refund that I have to rebook. I do not live there. They did not answer two phone messages I left. Today they emailed me and asked that I take it up with the parent company who sold the ticket. No phone number, no explanation. Just telling me to call someone else. I did understand they could cancel last minute. That is not my beef. Why cant you just refund my credit card? 2 phone calls, discussing it with one worker in person at the dock, and 3 emails and still no refund...
