Full description

Your day will begin with an early morning departure from Times Square in Manhattan, where you’ll be greeted by your bilingual tour guide for the day. After 4-5 hours, your first destination will be the nation's current capital, Washington, DC. Once there, visit the Iwo Jima Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial.

During the tour, stop for a classic outside view of the White House, home and office of the U.S. President, and the Capitol Building, home of the U.S. Congress. Your visit to Washington concludes with free time for lunch on your own. Your next destination, after a 3-hour journey, will be the first-ever U.S. capital, Philadelphia, PA. Visit its historic Old City neighborhood and the Independence National Historical Park where your guide will lead you on a brief walking tour. Then, ascend to the top of the Rocky Steps before returning to Times Square in Manhattan.

Even tough the tour starts really early it was an amazing experience! The Tour guide was excellent and everything was well planned. If you wanna see all standard touristic places in DC and Philly, this tour will be amazing for you! We didn’t expected too much because of the cheap price but we were really impressed by everything! All in one it wasn’t that exhausting at all. We enjoyed every second of it :)

It was a good trip, but it’s not for someone who wants to spend a lot of time at each place. You get to see a lot, take pictures, but you don’t really have time to take it all in. The guide was a nice lady, who knew a lot of history and facts about wherever we drove. It said English guide on the tour, but it was bilangual - both on English and Spanish. This was a bit confusing at times, and we missed some of the information and facts when it got lost in the changing between languages. All in all a nice trip for us.

The pickup took place promptly at 5 am in Times Square. The guide Carlos was in a good mood and tried to involve all guests in his care. In addition, he explained a lot and also included enough breaks. He wasn't above taking photos either. The $5 tip I voluntarily gave him was well deserved.
