Is a hotdog a sandwich? Join your fellow sandwich lovers on this fun, delicious and thought-provoking food tour as we feast on amazing sandwiches in New York City. Together with the 'Sandwich Squad', you'll visit foodie destinations that only New York locals know about. Debate the question "what is a sandwich?" and answer it by eating different types of delicious sandwiches. In addition to the delicious sandwiches, you'll hear stories about the history of the sandwich, and the people who make them. You'll discover street art and learn about the city's history too. Ticket price is inclusive of food. You'll leave the experience with your belly full, but you won't eat an entire sandwich at each location. Come with an open mind, leave with a full stomach, and an answer to whether or not a hotdog, a burger or a taco is a sandwich.

  • Generous portions of delicious sandwiches will be eaten from multiple local restaurants on this tour. You won't go home hungry, but you will go home satisfied! You will also get to meet some of the people making our sandwiches as you hear their stories and learn about their passion for the 'sandwich' they create for us.
  • You will also be led by a trained guide and sandwich aficionado who can customize the tour to your sandwich needs!

Entertaining and light hearted review of a ‘sandwich’. Trip included plenty of food, and was soooo tasty that I ate more than I thought possible at the start. The surprise of the tour is that’s it’s not traditional sandwiches, but part of the tour is debating actually what is a sandwich. Ben is an entertaining host, and flexed the tour to include alcohol. Highly recommended, and go debate the sandwich

Ben was fantastic…..for an Aussie😘. A very enjoyable and entertaining tour. Your idea of the definition ‘sandwich’ may or not be shattered at the end of it, but it’s definitely worth the journey. I’ll not say which was my fave, but the beer pairing ( not included in the ticket, but a must have) make it the more wonderful.
