I cannot say enough about the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. It is inspiring, heartbreaking, a truly profound experience. Needless to say, the lines can become overwhelming. Booking through Get Your Guide made the experience quite simple, allowing us to focus on our visit. I highly recommend Get Your Guide. We have used their services in NY, London, and Glasgow. My wife and I had a brief stopover in New York and decided to use much of the time on this trip. It was a good decision. Our guide, Cherie, was very knowledgeable and imparted a lot of information. She also made the time enjoyable, whilst treating the subject matter with due respect. We felt that our time had been well spent and that we had received good value for money.
Great experience and amazing views. Despite the short queues to get in (there was hardly a queue for those without 'skip the line' tickets) it was really busy which spoilt the experience a little. We went to watch the sunset, which may explain why it was so busy - if you do the same I recommend that you get there well in advance to get a good spot to view!
We spent over the five hours completing the tour and could have taken longer but time was pressing. Our guide was very interesting, the museum very sobering and informative bringing back memories of the day, the Observatory was a good way to finish the event.
The only disappointment was we were not informed we had a specific time to go to the observatory and were at the museum when we realized we missed our time slot. Not aware there was a specific time.
