  • Stop at a local cupcake bakery
  • Get to try the very best New York pizza in the city
  • Learn some of the Village's secret history
Full description
The local New York guides will lead you on a three-hour gastronomical tour of NY city's quintessential foods, with the backdrop of one of New York's most iconic and picturesque neighborhoods, the Village. You will explore the evolution of the foods New Yorkers hold most dear. Each of the bites is New York through and through, but with a twist. As you taste your way through this dynamic district, you will discover how the ever-changing cultural population has influenced not only New York City, but also its fare. Whet your appetites with a classic New York hot dog: mustard, onions, ketchup, plain or any combination of the same. The "spaghetti" and meatballs make this classic favorite new again. New York deli sandwiches all over town bow down to this tour's Reuben delight. On the tour, the Reuben is enjoyed at a local alehouse, along with a draft beer. And it wouldn't be a New York food tour without the pizza! Thin crust, tangy sauce, fresh cheese... This pizza takes the regular slice to a whole new level! Don't forget to save room for the Secret Bite, revealed only on the day of the tour. And just when you think, "I couldn't possibly eat another bite!" they'll be a tasty little cupcake waiting for you at the end of the tour, and it will be completely worth it to find the room. While this tour feeds your stomach, your guide will feed your mind with fascinating tidbits about the secret history of the Village. By the end of the tour, you'll eat, walk, and maybe even tawk like a native of the island.

David was excellent sharing very good food along with interesting history about the area and the restaurants we were visiting. His sense of humor and excellent memory about all 10 of the people in our group was amazing. He personalized the experience for all of us including my 9 year old grandson who liked everything he was served. His palette is exceptional for his age. My only suggestion is to go hungry. We had lunch before the tour and were very sorry. The food was excellent. I recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you David!

Great value...PLENTY of food for the price of the tour... Our guide, Bridget, was very informative and fun. Even though I've been to NYC many times before, this was something new to try and I definitely recommend. Planning on trying one of their other NYC tours on my next visit!

This tour was a gift and my girlfriend and I enjoyed it very much. With a lot of delicious food a lot of inside information were provided by Bridget. She, by the way, was a perfect host. As we were just two guests that day we had the feeling of a private tour. Before the tour we had no breakfast, it turns out that we did the right decision. If you feel stuffed or would like to safe some space for the next stop you can always ask for a wrap up. Lots of informations, plenty delicious food and nice company made this tour an unforgettable trip. We can defenetly recomend this tour to others.
