Fantastic. I loved the stories about the artists and why they paint in a certain way. It’s so interesting the influence artists of certain eras had on each other and those that came later. I also loved being able to be in the museum learning without the noise of all the people there once it opens.
The tour was excellent. There was a group of around 10 visitors with an expert (not an art history student as I anticipated- a professor with 15 years experience at the MoMA). Early entry helped us see the Water Lilies with the room completely empty.
