Full description

Enjoy a tour of Rockefeller Center, home to the worldwide symbol of the holidays in New York City. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree remains on display until early January. The Channel Gardens fountains are lined with 12 wire-sculpture angels glitter from thousands of tiny lights and became permanent fixtures at Christmastime. Each figure holds 6-foot-long brass trumpets angled toward the world-famous Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center. Begin the tour at 50th street and Broadway, where your guide will show you where the New Years Countdown occurs where millions of people all over the world look at the sparkling Waterford Crystal Times Square New Year's Eve Ball. At 11:59 PM, the Ball begins its descent starting the countdown of the final seconds of the year. Then, pass Radio City Music Hall as you approach Rockefeller Center. Watch the Famous Saks Fifth Avenue castle come alive. Walk north and pass the famous St Patricks Cathedral as well as famous stores like Cartier, Tiffany's, Bergdorf Goodman, and many more. Of course, walk by the famous UNICEF Snowflake - the largest outdoor chandelier of its kind - containing more than 16,000 Baccarat crystal prisms.
