Lyle was great! It was wonderful to hear the history of the park and the nearby skyscrapers from someone who knew all the details and was full of lots of information. I particularly liked the way he figured out my interest in certain bushes and trees and went out of his way to show us great specimens in the park. Seeing the 'woodland' ramble with all of the birds was amazing such an amazing contrast too many other parts of NYC.

A super experience

We arrived at the Cycle Tour Shop in very good time and were welcomed whilst we waited. Our tour guide was Lyall, he was lovely company, took some great photos and shared so much information with us. We had thought about wandering round, hoping to find interesting points ourselves but decided that we'd like to know more. Lyall's walking pace was excellent, he asked a little about us, where we lived and our occupations as well as telling us lots about parts of the park and had obviously well planned his route. I would highly recommend booking this tour - we are glad we did.

Booked a walking tour in Central Park to learn more about the park and also see spots you may not see if wandering on your own. Our guide Lyle was excellent - there were only 3 of us so it was a relaxed and intimate tour. Lyle was very friendly and entertaining with great knowledge about the park and the surrounding areas. At various points he offered to take pictures for us which was really nice. Highly recommend!
