Great tour with terrific guide - many thanks to Gordon who really is into Jazz and makes you feel very welcome.
My husband and I were in NY this past weekend for an early celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary this upcoming September 11th. Our tour guide Amanda was amazing! She had everything in place, with so many personalized details that she clearly took extra time and care to prepare for. Amanda went above and beyond my expectations as the weekend was a total surprise for my husband. We met some wonderful people and ALL the musicians were not only kind and accommodating, but incredibly talented and we applaud and encourage them to continue in what is clearly their passion in sharing their music with the world. Amanda was so attentive and extremely knowledgeable about jazz history and the present community. We can’t wait to rebook with our friends and family for the future. Kudos to our Jazzy Lady A! Meet your guide outside Silvana Cafe. If it's cold or raining, look for your guide inside the cafe. On Mondays, meet your guide inside and downstairs at the cafe. The best way to get to Silvana: the closest and best subway is the B and C trains which stop near Silvana at 116th Street and Frederick Douglass (8th Ave).
