It was as expected, having toured in many other countries with the same tour company. The weather didn't quite play it's part on the day we used it, but we still got the most out of the tour and buses were generally on time and could usually get a seat so all was good for our day on the big bus tour.

The tour gives you a great overview on NY. Due to traffic conditions the tour for both lines take a whole day (without getting off the bus). If you do get off and want to get on again, sometimes you have to wait for 45 minutes for a bus to come by We could sit on the top of the bus, but if it is raining, I would not recomment the tour.

This activity is great to get to know the city! Also your ticket lasts for 24 hours so a good mode of transport to use for the next morning! Not all the earphone portals work so make sure you are aware of what stop you want to jump off at as it may not be announced!! I would download the app so you know the bus times and the stops!! Child friendly!!
