Learn about local history, aboriginal history, the lighthouse and the marine wildlife from your local guide while you paddle in your kayak around the famous Byron Bay marine reserve. If the opportunity arises, get up close and personal with friendly bottlenose dolphins and discover how inquisitive they can be. You can also look out for sea turtles as they come up for a breath of air and marvel at the size of the majestic humpback whales as they migrate through Byron Bay during June - October. Enjoy paddling your kayak out through the surf and later ride some of Australia's most famous waves. If you don't see a dolphin, turtle or whale you can paddle again with the tour operator free of charge.

Paddle out of Manly in a Clearview kayak that lets you admire the stunning underwater environment of Manly Cove. After a short safety briefing and paddling demonstration, you'll head out with an experienced guide and explore the cove's four beautiful beaches. With a coffee or tea and snacks in hand, we will paddle to Little Manly, Collins, Store and Quarantine beaches, passing picturesque caves, striking rock formations and mini-waterfalls. You will stop on a secluded beach for a stroll, and there's plenty of time for a swim before we paddle back. You don't need any previous experience kayaking, as this is a gentle tour at a leisurely pace. Your experienced guides will make sure you have a well-fitted life jacket, and give you a safety briefing and paddling demonstration before we head out. You are welcome to bring a phone or small camera to capture the views, as we hand out dry bags before setting off. Note: the Clearview transparent kayaks offer a view right through to the seabed, but they take a little more effort to paddle and have a weight limit of ~90kg. You may choose a single or double sit on top kayak if you would prefer. The single kayaks are streamlined and fast, or choose a double kayak if you'd like to share the paddling in a sturdier ride. Children under 10 can join with an adult (or two) on double kayaks (which have a middle seat). Children 10-18 must be accompanied by an adult, but can paddle solo. In the case of unsuitable weather, we will postpone the tour the evening before.

Embrace the tranquility of the area, breathe in the clean air, and listen out for the sounds of local sea birds and wildlife. Take in the views of stunning coastal scenery as you cruise past. Take a well-deserved break on the river bank for a swim and a snack before continuing the tour. Listen as your guide points out the unique features of the environment.

Explore the pristine waters of Manly Cove which are some of the most spectacular in North Harbour. Paddle past exclusive beaches and take in the stunning scenery. Try out kayaking which is a fantastic, fun, and relaxing activity even for beginners.  First, arrive at the kayak location in the heart of Manly, where you will be given an explanation of the area and fitted with a life jacket and paddle. Be shown the basics before you set off, the kayaks are stable and easy to steer. No prior kayak experience is needed.  Receive a map of the kayaking area of operation, and when you are ready, begin your kayaking adventure. Dry bags are supplied as well, so you can bring your own picnic, and enjoy lunch on one of the pristine beaches in the area.

Head out on a morning sea kayak adventure on Sydney's beautiful harbor. Paddle to the centre of the harbor to take photos by Sydney Harbor Bridge, before exploring Goat Island on foot with your expert guide. Escape the noise of the city, and simply enjoy the sound of your paddle in the water and the sea birds squawking above as you paddle in the harbor. Get up close and personal to both the built environs and natural wonders of the harbor, including its marine inhabitants. After reaching the center of the harbor, pose with Sydney Harbour Bridge for your guide to take high-quality shots of you. Then, land in a secret cove on Goat Island (Memel in the local Aboriginal language), and explore the area on foot. Make the most of this experience: Goat Island is closed to the public and landing is by special permit only, included in your tour. Paddle back via Darling Harbour, and take a hot shower, if you like. Take advantage of the end-point's proximity to the famous Sydney Fish Markets, and refuel with a great lunch.

Explore the highlights of North Harbour by kayak on our mini kayak tour. This 90 minute adventure is perfect for first time paddlers looking for a unique way to explore the highlights of Manly Cove and North Harbour. You will meet your kayak guide at our West Esplanade location for a tour briefing before hitting the water. After launching your guide will lead the group into the quiet waters of North Harbour exploring some of our favourite beach locations including Fairlight, North Harbour Reserve and the famous Reef Beach where, if you’re lucky, you may spot our resident sea turtle! After a 30 minute paddle you will land at Reef Beach for a short bushwalk to the historic Arabanoo lookout at Dobroyd Head. Enjoy spectacular views through the Sydney Heads and see the iconic Manly Ferry cruising into Manly Wharf. Then it’s back to Reef Beach where you will have time to relax and have a quick dip before jumping on your kayaks for the final leg back to Manly. There is no better way to experience the absolute best Manly has to offer!

Hence our dusk departure time on the Brunswick River for this tour. Grace the tranquil waters of one of Australia's most beautiful rivers , the Brunswick River. We start the tour late afternoon on an rising tide. Sunset graces us whilst we paddle along enjoying the birdlife at the end of another day. Spot local Pelicans and Sea Eagles, look for stingrays resting in the shallow water underneath your kayak and meander through the mangroves whilst you clear your mind. This kayak trip is easy, fun and special. it's limited numbers so an intimate experience.

It’s easy to forget that Sydney is only an hour away when you discover the sandy beaches, cliffs, and bushland of the western foreshore of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Enjoy a half day kayaking on Pittwater’s islands, bays, and coves. This kayaking and bushwalking tour is professionally guided, and is approximately four hours long, not including transport from the city. You will be introduced to pristine national parkland accessible only by water. All paddlers arrive at the Bayview Anchorage Marina at 9:00 AM for a 9:30 AM departure with a return time targeted between 1-1:30 PM, depending on wind conditions and your stamina and fitness. A double seat in the sea kayaks and all safety equipment is provided, as well as a water bottle and a morning tea of fruit and breakfast pastries. After a safety instruction detailing use of the equipment and paddling techniques, launch your kayaks and paddle approximately 1.5-2 hours around Scotland Island and into Lovett Bay, enjoying the scenery and learning more about the idyllic lifestyles of the off-shore residents. At high tide, enjoy paddling through the mangroves in Salvation Creek before pulling up at its sandy beach. After a leisurely 30-minute bush walk and a morning tea served picnic-style on a secluded beach, you will paddle approximately 60 minutes back to the marina location.

Departing Manly Wharf, follow your guide past luxurious yachts and local ferries to the first stop at Reef Beach. Once there, choose to swim and relax or walk up to Dobroyd Head for breathtaking views of Manly. Next, continue on to Quarantine Beach where you will moor the kayaks and enjoy a visit to Australia's first quarantine station, hearing stories about the lives of both passengers and staff. The final leg of the day is the stunning Store Beach. Sit back, relax, and settle in for a hearty picnic lunch on the sand before making the scenic journey back to Manly.
