Immerse yourself in the mystical life - and after-life - of New Orleans on a 2-hour walking tour that combines 3 experiences in one. From the banks of the Mississippi River to the St. Louis No. 1 Cemetery, this tour covers a lot of ground. Explore the lively French Quarter and the Armstrong Park in the historic neighborhood of Treme, center of the city’s African American culture. Learn how and why the dead are buried above ground, and how the vaults work at St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, the oldest and most famous of the city’s cemeteries. Hear the history of Marie Laveau, Queen of Voodoo! Walk through Armstrong Park, formerly known as Congo Square, where slaves danced and were reunited with family members they had been separated from at the time of their enslavement.

The tour was really good and we enjoyed it! It was no fault of the guide's, but due to COVID we did not get to experience a lot of the tour in perhaps the way it was originally intended. I would say a majority of the tour was the guide talking about his own life rather than talking about the history of the things at which we were looking.

My 15-year-old daughter and I planned a girls' trip to NOLA, and she decided on a ghost tour. I'm so glad she picked this activity because our guide, James, was so entertaining and informative. I learned a lot about the city that I love to visit and had the BEST time making memories with my kiddo.

Our guide James was so genuine. He shared not only tons of factual information but personal touches as well. His love of New Orleans shined & gave the tour a personal touch you could feel. Sad we couldn't go in the cemetery but will definitely revisit NOLA to experience this.
