Full description
Feel the gentle breeze of Southern hospitality while you are transported back to the glory of the Old South! This half-day guided tour will reveal the exclusive and fascinating stories behind the old New Orleans. Sit back and relax as you're transported around this historic and beautiful area.

Oak Alley is perhaps the most photographed plantation ever; it has been the setting for such motion pictures as “Interview with a Vampire,” and “Primary Colors.” Because of its sublime visual impact and implication in the history of New Orleans, this is a great educational tour to experience with friends or family.

After we have explored the plantation, treat yourself to a refreshing snack in the on-site café and ice cream parlor. This is a relaxing way to end your tour, sitting at the picnic tables enjoying the views of the live oak trees stretching from the mansion to the gently flowing Mississippi River. You will feel as if you have stepped back into a bygone era.
