It was a nice 2 hours trip. Food was ok too. It's a must do experience being in NOLA but honestly there is not much to see along the river. What you see from the New Orleans departure point is what you get along the trip. The narration makes it so much more enjoyable. Well done on that

Other than the boarding line being long- its a big boat-, there was seating, there were air conditioned bars with seating and friendly staff. Know clearly that the tour is a mix of current industry as well as history thrown in. This is not a leisurely cruise of antique river plantations. Lunch service was good and efficient. Killer price for what you get.

Simply a must! We booked the tour so that we could go straight to lunch after boarding. The ship only left 30 minutes later anyway, so we spent the time with the great food. Each guest received a plate with all the specialties (probably still no self-service because of covid). In between there was always a service person and you could order refills. All food offered was absolutely typical and excellent. There were also drinks (sweetened and unsweetened ice tea, coffee), which you could also take outside. Before boarding, souvenir photos were taken of each passenger. This was then offered for sale later during the journey. We declined at $25. Unfortunately, the boat itself was not the Natchez, but the City of New Orleans. Doesn't run on steam but had the charm as well. The ride itself was also enjoyable and a great overall experience. Clear recommendation!
