Sobering, eye opening and essential tour to do if you visit New Orleans, the bus takes about and hour but it flys by as the guides talks about things like hurricane Katrina, wildlife, geography and culture on way out. You have about 2 hours to follow the guided trail through the plantation when you arrive. Do the outdoor trail first after you get off the air conditioned bus this put’s you in the footsteps of the poor souls who were enslaved. The visitor centre then finish’s the tour where you can cool down inside the centre. This tour is eye opening for all generations and a very humbling experience
Really informative. Guide was amazing on the journey and gave great local knowledge. Coach was really comfortable.
