What to Expect
Begin your private day tour of Delhi by car from your hotel at 09:30. Head straight from your hotel to the Bahá'í Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple, built between 1980 and 1986. This stunning site is set among serene pools and colorful gardens, and followers of any faith are invited to visit and pray or meditate silently according to their own religion.
Afterwards, head to Qutab Minar, the tallest minaret building in India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Qutab Minar is made of red sandstone and marble with a height of 238 feet (73 meters).
In the afternoon, head to the Red Fort and the Akshardham Temple. The Red Fort is a 17th-century fort complex constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Akshardham describes the eternal divine abode of the supreme God and is defined in the Vedas and Upanishads as the place where divine bhakti, purity, and peace forever prevails. At 19:30 you will return to your hotel with unforgettable memories to look back on.
