Die Stachelschweine - Drei Lügen zu viel

Die Stachelschweine - Drei Lügen zu viel

We are in the year 2023. Corona has been overcome. But a new danger is already looming! Three people in a secret bunker at Potsdamer Platz, deep underground, selected by Angela Merkel herself, are tasked with saving the world. And it has to happen quickly because the disaster seems unstoppable. Thousands of marriages have been destroyed, global corporations face bankruptcy, the 'Tagesschau' has to be shut down, and Markus Söder wants to lead Bavaria to independence. Because a new dangerous disease is spreading: the Truth Virus. The victims forget everything civilised people need in life: cheating, deceiving, fibbing, lying, and concealing. They must do the most dangerous thing of all: tell the truth to everyone and everything. Our heroes work feverishly on a solution. A four-star general, a Nobel Prize-winning doctor, the C.E.O of a global corporation - unfortunately, they were unavailable. But there is competent replacement: a Neukölln police officer, a psychiatrist from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and the equality officer for Britz-Buckow-Rudow. They have no idea, and only 24 hours before the virus reaches Moscow, Washington, and Pyongyang. They can't stand each other, the intelligence agencies are after them, Olaf Scholz cuts their budget to 56.50 euros plus meals, and then the free Wi-Fi goes out... The ensemble of Die Stachelschweine performs the new version of the successful play 'Gelogene Wahrheiten' (Lied Truths) by Frank Lüdecke and Sören Sieg.

Berlin: 2.5-Hour Neighborhood Tour of Neukölln

Berlin: 2.5-Hour Neighborhood Tour of Neukölln

Set off on a journey through time on this fascinating walking tour of the Neukölln neighborhood in Berlin. Hear about how this part of the city has developed into the multicultural hub that it is today. With the approval of Wilhelm II, Rixdorf was renamed Neukölln in 1912. The reason for this was a simple image problem, for the city south of Berlin was the epitome of frivolous entertainment. However, the origins of Rixdorf can be traced back much further than this and provide a very different picture. Religious faith and puritanism shaped the everyday life of the Bohemian Exulanten (Protestant refugees) who settled here alongside the German population as early as the 18th century. Explore the heart of Neukölln around Richardplatz, which still radiates a village-like atmosphere today, and embark on an exciting journey from the Middle Ages to the present day.

I love going on street art tours in cities I visit. Without a tour guide I would walk by hidden murals and art or not have the background on what I am viewing. I highly recommend the street art tour of Berlin with Laura. She’s a transplant from the UK who fell in love with living in Berlin. She’s very knowledgeable of the street art in Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain neighborhoods. Laura provided background on the works and artists we viewed. She also had information on the neighborhoods and the impact of gentrification. I also learned how to recognize the work of various street artist collectives. The tour ended with a stop in an amazing community garden. I highly recommend this tour as there so much artwork to in Berlin that is not located in the city’s fabulous museums.

Our tour was absolutely wonderful. Vincent is an amazing and stylish guide, he gave us so many new perspectives of the city. Although we visited Berlin several times we learned new things. Would definitely recommend this particular tour with Vincent as the guide! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
