Isle of Skye: Tour the highlights and hidden beauties.

Isle of Skye: Tour the highlights and hidden beauties.

You will be picked up by your guide from your accommodation at a time to suit you. It is essential that we create the itinerary of your bespoke tour together by email, with the understanding that it's not possible to see all of Skye in one day. A distillery booking will impact on the time available for scenic visits. Most tours begin with the famous Trotternish peninsula including the Old Man of Storr, Lealt Falls, the Kilt Rock and the Quirang. This stunning topography, a popular location for many film-makers, was created around 60 million years ago by a massive landslip. You may wish to calm your nerves with a wee dram from your guide's mobile bar at some point! After that, we will optionally visit the tragic ruin of Duntulm Castle which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean also optionally visit the Crofters' Museum nearby which centres on 5 ancient 'black' houses recreating the living conditions of 200 years ago. On the western side of the peninsula we continue to the Fairy Glen. If there is a requirement to strike further west to either Dunvegan Castle, Neist Point Lighthouse or the Fairy Pools, this will depend on what previous options have been chosen and whether time remaining on the 8 hour tour allows. We offer an immersive experience so that you are not hurried in any of the locations we visit. Finally your guide will drop you back at your accommodation having immersed yourself in the beauty and violent history of the Island.

There was good coverage of spots around the Isle of Skye, reasonably timed; our tour guide, Collum, brought great energy and was very informative. The seating could have been nicer for the outside view, but overall, I highly recommend this package for anyone traveling to Portree for the first time, and it covers almost everything. Our tour guide went above and beyond to show and tell the history of each visiting spot; I very much liked learning more about Bonnie Prince Charles Edward Stuart and the Jacobite cause. Thank you for offering this service. Worth the money and time.

With only one full day in Portree, this full-day tour was absolutely perfect to see all the major sights on Isle of Skye. Callum was an excellent tour guide, timing out all the stops perfectly and even making a special stop for some Highland coos at the end! Highly recommend, especially for those who don't have a car and who don't want to navigate the tricky roads throughout Skye. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!!

Considering the awful weather we got blessed with, Callum did an amazing job of making sure everyone’s time was honored and we were able to see and do as much as possible! I would definitely come back and book again (in better weather) of course!!

Skye is beautiful and our guide Stevie was fun and very knowledgeable. The weather (mist and dark) shortened the viewings. We had a great and would highly recommend Stevie and the tour of Skye

Steven was a great guide and always had very interesting stories. We saw beautiful places and really enjoyed the tour. Thanks !
