Marcelo was very knowledgeable about the history of Siracusa, from its Greek origins and years of dominance, through its wars against/occupations by the Romans, Arabs, and Spaniards. He is fascinated with archeology and imparted his enthusiasm and knowledge upon us! He spent more than 4 hours with us on this private tour of the important Neapolitan Archeological Park and all of the key sites on Ortigia. The tour was expensive, but well worth it! Highly recommend. Thank you very much, Marcelo!

After the tour I read the reviews. The Italian guide (also speaking German to some guests) was excellent and informative. I think he was called Natale. Thanks to him! But I was distressed for the first half hour as I couldn’t find the guide, as the time of the tour was not 12 as on the app but at 12,30, and I also had the problem about “converting the ticket” and had to walk up the hill again, watch out for that. Info on the app needs to be revised.

Wonderful tour, lasted close to 2hrs. We did have to wait to join for the English guide 30 minutes later than proposed time, but it was no issue. Lots of the time at the quarry, and enough time at both Greek and Roman ruins. Make sure you have a hat/ umbrella.

Very good experience. Very well preserved and maintained. At the end, the way out is not very clear. It is a very interesting place and not to be missed if you go to Syracuse. I recommend it.

Fabio is an outstanding tour guide professional. He delivered excellence and went above and beyond to provide his clients an unforgettable experience!
