Delos was beautiful and incredibly well-preserved ruins. However we felt we needed more time and would have definitely benefitted from having a guide. Mykonos was not as interesting to us as there were many shops to browse. This is not an interest of ours and we went up high to view Mykonos and the windmills.

Experiencing Delos and Mykonos in one day is a very good idea. Organization was good and the crew on the ship were very friendly and helpful. You have to experience Delos and Mykonos as a traveler to Greece. Important tip: If you have a sensitive stomach, take something to prevent seasickness before departure. More than half of the people on the ship vomited several times on the outward journey from Paros to Delos and on the return journey from Mykonos to Paros. The crew had to do everything possible to hand out vomit bags, so you have to stay stable in the midst of such a vomit orgy. The waves were pretty heavy and not for the faint-hearted or sensitive; another “hike”. Otherwise everything was fine and I would recommend the activity considering the seasickness and the strong current of the Aegean ✌

Family of 5 all enjoyed the trip.

My family of 5 enjoyed this trip. We have 3 kids aged 10, 19, and 21 so that is not always the case. College students and anybody over 65 are half price at Delos so bring your ID if that applies to you. Kids under 18 are free at Delos. There are some scammers at the front gate of Delos trying to be your guide to the site. Our Delos entry fee was 36 euros. One scammer wanted us to pay 110 euros and another wanted us to pay 98 euros. We waited in the 10 minute line and paid our 36 euros. Delos is a difficult place to navigate if you have mobility issues. My 80+ year old parents would have absolutely loved it, but I don't think either could handle walking along even the easiest path. Mykonos had wonderful food and shops. Our oldest even saw some buddies from college along the harbor. It was a great day :)
