With your day ticket, you can hop on and off the bus as often as you like throughout the day at the scheduled stops. The Alsace Wine Route, one of the oldest in France, stretches over 170 km and 119 municipalities in the Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin departments. It is full of treasures, unusual places, and activities that open the doors to a slightly more secret Alsace. You can hop on and off at any of the stops along the route: Colmar, Ribeauvillé, Hunawihr, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg Vignoble, Turckheim, and Eguisheim. - Colmar: an iconic city of Alsatian heritage and the capital of Alsace wines. 2 stops: Colmar Gare, Colmar Office du Tourisme-Unterlinden. - Ribeauvillé: capital of Alsace minstrels. Stop: Gare Routière. - Hunawihr: typical Alsatian village with a fortified church and a NaturOparc. Stop: Lavoir. - Riquewihr: unmissable medieval town. Stop: Poste. - Kaysersberg Vignoble: famous wine-growing town and birthplace of Dr. Albert Schweitzer. Stop: Porte Basse. - Turckheim: iconic fortified town. Stop: Porte de France. - Eguisheim: cradle of Alsatian wine-growing and medieval village. Listed as one of "The Most Beautiful Villages in France" since 2003. Stop: Town Hall car park. Enjoy a stop every hour and a half in each town and village along the route. Throughout the itinerary, treat your taste buds to the many gastronomic and gourmet specialties for which Alsatian chefs are renowned: sauerkraut, baeckeoffe, tarte flambée, kougelhopf, and more.
