Stroll in an evergreen wood once belonging to the Thermal Baths of Diocletian — what's more, that huge courtyard was restored by Michelangelo! Your guide will show you lost statues from the imperial palace — such as Myron's Discobolus (Discus Thrower) and the Old Boxer, richly painted frescoes from the Garden Villa of Empress Livia, colorful mosaics and tombs of many sorts and kinds! At the end of the tour, get ready for some science and astronomy, as you will walk in the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, housing a unique planetary sundial, built by 17th-century astronomers for the Pope to calculate the perfect sequence of day and night throughout the seasons. Enjoy the pleasure of walking in amazing quietness in front of first-class art pieces and let Rome show you its best treasures.

Rome: Palazzo Braschi Reserved Entrance Ticket

Rome: Palazzo Braschi Reserved Entrance Ticket

The 18th century Palazzo Braschi, in the heart of Renaissance and Baroque Rome, is home to the Museum of Rome. It is the most significant institution for the knowledge of social history and artistic activities in Rome from the Middle Ages to the early twentieth century. The Museum of Rome opens on 21 April 1930, in Piazza della Bocca della Verità. Closed in 1939 due to the war, it will move in 1952 to the current seat of Palazzo Braschi. Since then, the original historical-documentary vocation has evolved in favor of the artistic valorization of the Museum which consists of a collection of about 120,000 objects, including paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs and clothes. Also for this reason, considering the quantity and nature of the materials in the collection, the new exhibition - inaugurated on 28 March 2017 - follows a thematic rather than chronological path within the exhibition rooms, now located on the second and third floor of the building. The first floor, instead, is intended for temporary exhibitions that will help to increase public knowledge of the place and the museum, enriching the Roman cultural offer with events of great appeal, aimed at facilitating the meeting of different audiences within the Museum. Don't miss to visit one gem into the historical center of Rome: Patrizi Montoro Palace. This stunning palace has been the cherished residence of a distinguished Roman noble family since 1642, counted among the elite alongside the Borghese, Doria, and Colonna families. Step into a world of timeless beauty, aristocratic heritage, and captivating art at Patrizi Montoro Palace.

Roma Pass is a great help. + Benefits - Skip the endless lines and save a lot on attractions. The main attractions are covered by the Roma Pass. - Attention: Pay attention to your arrival time, after 8pm you will not be able to pick up tickets at any PIT, so be careful when choosing between 48h or 72h. # TIP: THE COLOSSEUM SELLS OUT! If you buy the 48h pass as your first attraction in Rome, you don't pay the fee, while if you buy the 72h pass you get a discount on the fee if the Colosseum is your 1st or 2nd attraction when activating your Roma Pass. Book online, IT REALLY SELLS OUT. Buy the Roma Pass, it is infinitely better than buying it at the time (too expensive, it can be 4X the advance price or specific fees in addition to the Roma Pass, such as the Colosseum).

a trip to Rome magnificent with splendors see roof is excessive big black point the metro crowded at all hours. we do not know expected such a world in the month of October. fortunately we had reserved all our activities otherwise I think that we would not enter certain monuments The Paris metro is a joke.

It was very helpful! We got the passes from the office at the airport and used them for transportation and for two visits, which we booked in advance - Castle St Angelo and Galeria Burghese. Putty that there was no time for more! Worth the money!

Our Guide was Alexandra. She was very nice, knowledgeable and funny and told us lots of very interesting things about St. Peter’s Basilica and the crypt

Very nice discovery of Rome, very well organized, fascinating city.
