A worth-while orientation to Mexico City for the first-time visitor

This was a useful orientation to Mexico City for tow first-time visitors. We took Line 1 that covers the Historic Center and the newer Poblano area. This gave us a good overview of where the things we had already on our list were located, and added a few to the list. However, there are many ways in which the service could be included. The English language commentary was adequate, although it could have been more informative. The map of the route was rudimentary, and investment in material of this kind would be useful. Getting access to English language information and a map on the Internet was also difficult, and we ended up picking up our paper tickets from Amigo Hotel, only to find that we had passed the starting point of the tour, due to lack of information. These are faults that can be easily fixed, and we found all the staff efficient and friendly.

Activity was interrupted with no warning. Had to get off the bus.

The sights were interesting. The trip was cut short unannounced. I had to get off the bus as it could not return to the planned location. Therefore I was unable to continue the tour on another bus as I was told I would be able to. There were only a handful of people on the tour with me. No announcement was made. I had to go downstairs to ask the driver. The meeting place was not where to get the bus in the first place. This was not at all clear. Wasted a lot of time.
