What People Are Saying About Nassau
Lindsay is an excellent and knowledgeable speaker. We got a lot of information on Pirates and also how to 'taste' Rum correctly. If you like Rum, this is the tour for you! Also a lot of treats too from conch fritters to rum raisin gelato, the tour was better than I expected!
My husband and I really enjoyed this Rum Tasting/Walking tour in Nassau!! It ended up being a private tour for us as we were the only ones booked for the 11am time slot. The guide, Orchid, was very knowledgeable and personable. It was really a great tour and it gives you a peek into Nassau and the history of the island. Once the tour ended, she walked us down by the beach & pointed us in the right direction to grab a bite to eat. This day was one of the highlights of our cruise! Thank you, Orchid!! Take care, Irene & Sal Motta
Thoroughly enjoyed the Run Runners tour. Our guide knew the history very well and also answered any unrelated questions we had! Would highly recommend!!
We enjoyed the different rums from a clear one to an amber to a spiced rum my favorite. Starting out with a lower quality at the Pirate's Tavern then we tasted rum cake at an art gallery. Then we walked to my favorite place which is a Bed & Breakfast built by Pirates 300 yrs. ago and later owned by Al Capone's rum running mistress from the gangster times. It was beautiful with cobalt blue tiled pools, along with a cigar factory and chocolate factory on the premises. Our final destination was the new rum distillery owned by the Bacardi brothers. Very interesting experience and well worth our time especially from 2 former teacher's perspective . Our guide was very personal and informative.
Overall would rate tour 5 stars good value for money. Well paced activity plenty of time to ask questions. Perfect amount of rum tasting and the guava cake was to die for.
