Full description

Embark on a guided cycling tour around the city of Nara. Discover some of its significant landmarks including Nara Park, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Tōdai-ji, and a Knife company original shop.

Meet your guide in Nara and after a short introduction and safety briefing, you will be ready to set off. Put your helmet on, jump on your bike and head off to discover the beauty of the city. 

Admire the beautiful scenery of Nara Park as you ride along at a relaxed pace. See the friendly deer who roam freely within the park and take in the views of the beautifully maintained surroundings.

Stop at the Todai-ji Temple and learn more about Buddhism and Shinto culture with your guide. Stroll through its grounds and gaze in awe at the 15-meter-tall giant Buddha statue.

Next, head to the Kasuga Taisha Shrine to see its thousand lanterns. Then, continue to the Kikuichi store, a high-end Japanese cooking knife retailer, before heading back to the starting point.

Ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis! Robert hat uns viel gezeigt und viel Neues gelernt! Er war in der Zeit sehr flexibel, wir waren die einzigen auf der Tour und er hat sich an unser Tempo angepasst! Die Tour ist nicht schwierig aber man sollte schon gut Fahrrad fahren können da man das erste und letzte Stück auf der Hauptstraße fährt! Der Startpunkt ist ein ganzes Stück außerhalb Nara aber mit dem Bus der von der Zugstation wegfährt gut zu erreichen, dauert ca. eine halbe Stunde. Mit Google Maps aber alles leicht zu finden! Die Fahrräder waren top und der Sattel super! Alles in allem ein tolles Erlebnis! Arigato gozaimas Robert

Wir machen immer sehr gerne Führungen per Rad, weil man in kurzer Zeit sehr viel sehen kann, oft schöne Strecken fährt, die man allein nicht findet. Und so war es auch in Nara. Die Räder waren gut und leicht zu fahren. Der Fahrtwind war sehr angenehm bei der Hitze. Die Strecke war nicht schwierig, nur eine Etappe mit etwas Steigung, die aber nicht lang war. Elodie hat uns gut geführt, sympathisch und gut erklärt. Dass sie sich auch um die Eintrittskarten und as Tierfutter gekümmert hat und reichlich kaltes Trinkwasser dabei hatte, war für uns sehr komfortabel. Sie hat auch Fotos von uns gemacht. die wir später herunterladen konnten. Die Aktivität hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Wir können sie nur empfehlen.
