Absolutely cannot say enough about this incredible tour. After three weeks in Italy, this boat trip was possibly the single best thing that I did. Stunning views between Mt Vesuvius, the coastline, cliffs and castles, and then of course Amalfi, Ravello and Positano. I think I took more pictures this day than the entire rest of my time in Italy. Other reviews mentioned the long time riding on a boat with hard seats (I brought a seat cushion from my Airbnb!), but you don’t mind because what you’re seeing is blowing your mind. For the tour guide part of it, Gennaro was awesome and kept us together on schedule— really the whole company was so well organized and professional. He didn’t give a lot of history on the towns, but I actually appreciated that because I just wanted to take in the views and it’s hard to hear him speaking through a speaker with all the wind. Only thing I would change about the tour is to not play music through the boat speaker. It was loud, distorted and distracting.

Full description
Visit the Amalfi Coast on a day trip from Naples. Take in Sorrento from the sea. Visit Amalfi and Positano, with the option of exploring Ravello too. Admire incredible scenery worthy of a UNESCO World Heritage listing.
From the convenient meeting point in Naples, you will transfer to the port of Torre del Greco. From there, set sail to Sorrento, enjoying the amazing Mount Vesuvius in the background and learning about its tragic history from your expert guide.
Admire the beauty of the Sorrento coastline: the panoramic terraces overhanging the sea, the Baths of Queen Giovanna, the Bay of Jeranto, and the Protected Sea Area of Punta Campanella. When you arrive at Amalfi, you will have free time to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its picturesque views, romantic landscapes, and the cathedral of Saint Andrew.
Depending on the option chosen, you can also visit Ravello, a resort town, where you will have free time to see the Villa Rufolo and its serene garden, which offers a breathtaking panorama over the entire Gulf of Salerno. Then you will depart for Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast, famous for its narrow streets, small shops, and colorful pottery. You will have some free time here to explore before relaxing on board for the journey back to Naples.

- Pickup service is available from established meeting points in Naples and surrounding cities. In case of unspecified accommodation details, the pickup will be in Naples at 7:40 AM at the entrance of the Star Hotel Terminus(if selected the option from Naples) and at 8:15 am at the entrance of Ercolano Scavi Circumvesuviana Train Station (if chosen the option from Portici, Ercolano and Torre del Greco) Please provide your accommodation details to establish the meeting point. You will be contacted 24 hours before the travel date with more information regarding the meeting point and pickup time.
- The timing may change due to adverse sea conditions or traffic on the way to Ravello
- If you choose the tour option, without Ravello Visit, the free time in Amalfi will be of 3.5 hours
