An interesting and fascinating tour giving you the opportunity to visit Pompeii and drive you to the top of the volcano Vesuvius that destroyed the town nearly two thousand years ago and yet rendered it eternal.
What to Expect
The visitors will experience how ancient Romans lived and admire the level of civic progress and artistic skills they had reached so many years ago. After the fall of the Roman Empire such levels of progress were only reached in the 17th and 18th century. Walk inside the ruins to visit the Forum, The Stabian Baths, the bordel, the small and the big theater, the House of the Faun and the House of the Tragic Poet. After visiting Pompeii, relax and enjoy a free 30 minutes to eat before continuing to the second part of the tour. The route that will take you to the top of mount Vesuvius goes through a National Park of unusual beauty. Pine forests and lush woods, bright yellow flowers, and an uncanny volcanic landscape. It is a most spectacular drive with amazing views of the bay of Naples. Finally, walk along side a volcanolgist guide that will inform you about the geological history of all the eruptions of the volcano.
