What to Expect
This full-day excursion from Naples is designed for the entire family and takes you to two of the highlights of the gorgeous Amalfi Coast. Explore the winding streets of Positano before continuing to Sorrento where you will learn how to make the very famous Margherita Pizza.
Your driver will meet you at the Port of Naples, before making your way along the coast to the picturesque coastal village of Positano. Spend the morning leisurely exploring the narrow streets and seaside cafes. One of the most famous villages of the Amalfi Coast, John Steinbeck once described it as “like a dream.”
Once you have wandered the romantic streets, stopping to purchase some of the colorful pottery, the trip will continue to the famous town of Sorrento, where you will get your pizza lesson.
Arriving at Sorrento at approximately 11:30 and proceed directly to the restaurant for your cooking class. Your pizza teacher, Pizzaiolo, will give you an apron and a hat to start rolling out the pizza dough in special aluminum plates to size out the pizza.
You will then add the toppings of mozzarella, tomato, basil, and olive oil.
Once your pizza is ready to cook, it will be placed inside a wood-fire oven and after a few minutes, it will be ready to eat!
