Excellent tour in English. Guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. Included lunch which was good (pizza, pasta, or salad with non-alcoholic drink). Mt. Vesuvius had nice gravel path to climb but have to be fit to do walk- around 30-45 minute climb at steady incline the whole way. Most people didn't make it to the top. November trip so cooler weather and therefore wet fog the whole way with no visible views. May want to skip Mt. Vesuvius climb at this time of year. Half of the group just did the Pompeii tour.

This was an excellent trip that allowed my mother, my son, and me to see Pompeii and Vesuvius in one day. The organization of the trip was superb, our guides were extremely kind and helpful, and we felt enriched at the end of the day. Money very well spent. I'd recommend it to anyone except those with mobility issues. It can be difficult to walk on some of the stony streets of Pompeii, and Vesuvius is, well, Vesuvius.

Revisit where Mount Vesuvius erupted and buried Pompeii beneath molten ash on a day trip by minivan or bus. Follow your licensed guide through the remains of this UNESCO World Heritage Site remarkably frozen in time for almost 2,000 years. Enjoy a local pizza lunch along your route. Hear stories about the Forum, Thermal Baths, the Lupanare, the Greek Theatre, and plaster casts of bodies burnt by volcanic ashes and lapilli. Savor a typical Naples pizza lunch at one of Pompeii’s cafés. Then, be driven close to the mountain's summit that destroyed the city. From there, take a short walk to the lip of the crater and take in the atmosphere of the smoking mountain. Revisit the devastating day in 79 AD when Mount Vesuvius erupted and buried the Roman city of Pompeii beneath molten ash. On arrival, discover the remains of this UNESCO world heritage site remarkably frozen in time for almost 2,000 years. It is the only active volcano in continental Europe. Enjoy the stunning views over the Bay of Naples. Return to Naples at approximately 5 PM and be dropped off at your hotel, your cruise ship, or the railway station.

I was picked up 5 mins walk from my accommodation in a very comfortable minibus. the guide Erica was very knowledgeable about Pompeii. the pizza for lunch was great and came with coca cola. plenty of time to make the summit of Vesuvius as well. I had a very memorable trip, thank you so much
