Start this 2-hour guided walk in Piazza Municipio, by the fountain of Neptune. See the medieval Castel Nuovo, and hear about its history from your local guide.
Enter Piazza del Plebiscito, home to the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Marvel at the views of the sea and Vesuvius.
Continue to the Umberto Arcades, whose style has a striking similarity to the Vittorio Emanuele II Arcades in Milan.
Climb up Via Roma, and enter the historical center. Visit the Church of Jesus, the ruins of the ancient Greek city and the Decumani. The tour ends in Piazza Dante.
