Thé ride up was great. Maria was bubbly, interesting, informative and very pleasant. The stop at the store/farm was very interesting also. The explanation of the limoncello making and the mixture of limoncello and buffalo milk superb. If you go be prepare for a very steep climb to the crater. The food at the winery and the different wines we tasted was excellent. The time between the serving of different wine was rushed.

This was an easy way not to have to grapple with public transport or expensive taxis. Coach modern comfy and air-conditioned but no seat-belts. Guide was a very pleasant chap Adriano but I wanted to tell him to either use microphone or shout but not do both it was a very loud commentary. Lunch and wine tasting was plentiful but not much information, I think we had 5 or 6 wines in rapid succession with no explanation, felt like speed dating with wine but food above average for this sort of trip. Walk up Vesuvius was not guided but that was fine there is only one route up, everyone goes at own pace, walking poles provided at kiosk for old or weak, very windy and cold at top, take coat. Overall good trip, good value and saved a lot of hassle compared to if you had tried to do it off your own back. We used this company for several outings and they seemed professional and organised, would use again.

The guide was very attentive and welcoming. The walk up Vesuvius was comfortable and the wine tasting and food were delicious. The one thing that I would say is that the sampling of the wine could have been slower and more relaxed as there eas a long gap between our fourth and fifth wines
