A fantastic trip! Mimi was an excellent guide who brought humour and knowledge to our group and our driver was brilliant at navigating the challenging roads! We could have spent longer in Pompeii but it was a great introduction to the history of the place and our guide certainly fitted in a lot in the 2 hours. It certainly paid off to be there early and beat a lot of the crowds! Vesuvius was hard going and very steep but definitely worth the climb! The views were amazing. There are currently no toilet facilities at Vesuvius but Mimi and our driver kindly stopped at a service station so we could have a comfort break on our return to Sorrento. Would thoroughly recommend 😊
Professionally run and enjoyable day trip and a great way to visit Pompeii and Vesuvius in one day. Our guide Luisa was very energetic and enthusiastic and Luigi, who guided us around Pompeii, was extremely informative and engaging. Would highly recommend this tour. The only downside is the overpriced lunch you are more or less compelled to order (it is of course optional but you have a limited break and not much choice if you are hungry!)
