From Naples: All-Inclusive Mount Vesuvius Half-Day Tour

Pick up was smooth and on time, the journey to Vesuvius was also smooth and the driver was so friendly and knew the roads well. We were dropped off at a car park at the destination and were able to walk to the top with ease. I’d say the journey from the car park to the top was about 25 minutes without stopping, to stop and take pictures took around 40 mins. There were 3 huts to grab a drink/snacks and buy any souvenirs. The toilets (not the best or cleanest) are at the car park and there aren’t any on the way up or back down so make sure you go beforehand as we had to wait! Definitely worth the money and would 100000% use this company again if we were to return. Thank you!

There was some initial confusion with pickup time provided but our driver waited for us. He provided us with interesting facts about the volcano on the drive up. Sit close to the front if you want to hear everything because there isn’t a microphone. We had about 1.5 hours to hike to the top, look around and hike back down. The hike up is challenging, but you should still have lots of time to look around and take pics, grab a coffee/snacks/souvenirs at the shops at the top before heading down. We had a very cloudy day so no view of Napoli or the crater except for about a minute of clearing. Set your expectations around that possibility. Still a great experience.
