The trip was very well organised, we had freedom to climb Vesuvius and tour Pompeii on our own time. The bus tour was on time, we had a nice stop off at a local Limoncello store on the way down. An even better touch was hsving lunch included at a restaurant in Pompeii. would recommend for those who want an organised day but the freedom to explore the destinations under their own steam. great value for money.

Hear stories about the Forum, Thermal Baths, the Lupanare, the Greek Theatre, and plaster casts of bodies burnt by volcanic ashes and lapilli.
Savor a typical Naples pizza lunch at one of Pompeii’s cafés. Then, be driven close to the mountain's summit that destroyed the city. From there, take a short walk to the lip of the crater and take in the atmosphere of the smoking mountain.
Revisit the devastating day in 79 AD when Mount Vesuvius erupted and buried the Roman city of Pompeii beneath molten ash. On arrival, discover the remains of this UNESCO world heritage site remarkably frozen in time for almost 2,000 years. It is the only active volcano in continental Europe.
Enjoy the stunning views over the Bay of Naples. Return to Naples at approximately 5 PM and be dropped off at your hotel, your cruise ship, or the railway station.
