Our guide Giuseppe was very accommodating as my 78 year old Dad joined us and had forgotten to ride a bike. :( We didn't get to see all that the tour had to offer due to my Dad struggling with his bike. He was patient though. Giuseppe did warn us that riding a bike in Naples was not like riding one in Amsterdam. He was spot on as we found it a little difficult to maneuver our way thru crowds and traffic. It was a little nerve racking at times but we got to see some places that we probably wouldn't have seen on our own. Price was quite steep compared to other cities that we have done bike tours. Maybe because it was an e-bike?
Giuseppe was the best! I love a tour that keeps moving and that is not filled with too many history facts. He gave us just the right amount and I loved the knowledge that come from having lived there. We really enjoyed our time with him and I never felt stressed about biking amongst the traffic or pedestrians. We felt like we got a really great flavour of Naples in a short time and a little adventure to go with it. I would really recommend. The fellow who greeted us in the shop was lovely as well!
Kate our guide was the best, her knowledge was second to none, she was enthusiastic and passionate about her subject and country. she broke up the ride into sections which all ages and abilities would find easy and enjoyable. She made our trip around Naples the best, her recommendations of a restaurant (soldino) and gelato shop (mennella) were unbelievable and really topped it off for us , Thank you Kate and good luck in your studies, Love Wendy and Mark
We booked a 3 hour tour and our guide was excellent, we covered many different neighborhoods and he was well informed. This tour gave us a good over view of Napoli. The ebikes were in decent shape with enough power to make any hill we encountered. Not for the faint of heart. Naples is a crowded bustling city with virtually no bike lanes. The traffic is chaotic, We are from NYC so it wasn’t a total shock but I can’t say the tour was relaxing.
Was a great adventure biking right in the city of Naples. Our guide was very good, and 5 stars would have been given if he had insisted on helmets for everyone, offered a little less history on churches and buildings he stopped the ride to tell us about, and definitely did not appreciate his bashing of the United States and President Trump. Also suggest to throw in a stop for a cold drink as it was 90 degrees the day of our tour.
