The tour itself was very good, but just the day before the pick up I had an email changing the pick up place. This meant I had to pay for taxis to and from the new pick up and cost me an extra 40 euros on top of the cost of the trip. I picked this trip because it had a pick up very close to my hotel

Choose between a morning or afternoon tour and travel in the comfort of an air-conditioned bus as you make your way from Naples to Pompeii.
Upon arrival meet our local guide specialized in archeology, discover this well-preserved Roman city with paved streets, luxurious villas, temples and ancient shops. Feel the presence of ancient Romans.
Let yourself be touched as you view the casts of the Pompeii victims, created through a technique of filling the cavities left by the bodies in the compacted ash with plaster.
The itinerary within the Pompeii excavations may vary from day to day
depending on the opening of certain offices and the influx of visitors. The visit guarantees the exploration of one building from each category: 1 Temple, 1 Market, 1 ancient shop, 1 Villa, 1 Thermal bath, 1 Theater, and the Forum. The selection of visited buildings is determined each time by the guide based on the number of visitors, waiting times, and their opening hours.
The visit lasts for about 2 hours before heading back to the drop-off point.
The tour includes a visit to a Cameo factory. Cameos are typical jewels from the Roman era, discovered during the excavations of Herculaneum and Pompeii in 1748. At the factory, you can observe a craftsman at work. Cameos are jewels crafted from shells and gemstones, and they are hand-carved by the artisan. Visiting the factory will allow you to use the restrooms for free before entering the excavations. Therefore, stopping at the Cameo factory is not only informative but also essential in terms of managing the visit to the Pompeii excavations.
The tour in the chosen language is considered confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants. If the minimum number is not reached, there will be the option to choose either an audio-guided tour in the selected language or a guided tour in English.
NOTE: According to regional regulations, admission to the site is free on the first Sunday of each month
