I had a GREAT day exploring Hells Gate National Park on bike and Lake Naivasha on boat thanks to my great driver, Bernard! On the way from Nairobi we stopped at Rift Valley for some beautiful views and shopping and learning a bit about the area. Upon arriving at the park, the bikes seemed a bit beat up at first glance, but the functionality was perfect with the gears and it was an awesome bike tour. I would say the bike tour is some times easy and some times moderate. Definitely wear sunscreen!!! We saw so many animals - impalas, gazelles, pumba/warthogs, zebras, giraffe, Cape buffalo, and wildebeest. The scenery was gorgeous. Despite some rainy weather that moved in, we still enjoyed a great boat tour with hippos, amazing birds and an island filled with more African mammals - zebras, impalas, gazelles, etc. It was a long day from about 7am-6pm but an awesome trip exploring Kenya and God’s awesome creation!

It was great experience, our driver Kadwaro was so polite and helpful throughout the tour. The weather was perfect for cycling inside the Hell’s gate park and we also walked along the gorge along with our tour guide for Hell’s gate park. Regarding Lake Naivasha it was quite pleasant and 1 hour boat ride with scenic view. Since we were 2 people, so we were picked up in a car with just 2 of us, so it felt like a private tour which was quite a pleasant surprise.

Fabulous day out. Loved the boat trip and Hells Gate is both beautiful and dramatic. Our driver Eric was lovely and chatted to us about the trip details all the way there then went out of his way to drop us back at our various hotels despite heavily rush hour traffic

The tour was great. Our guide Eric is really friendly, funny and open for all kind of ideas and variations of the tour. We had a great day and it was also totally affordable for our budget. Next time I definitely will come back to him. thanks:)

We had a wonderful day trip to lake naivasha with Edwin. We were able to get close to the animals to take photos and loved the boat ride! Would definitely recommend this as a day trip from Nairobi!
