You will get a pick up from your hotel or airport for an early morning or afternoon game drive. The game drive will take between 2hrs to 5hrs hours in the Nairobi National Park. You will start by visiting the ivory burning site where elephant tusks and rhino horns have been torched by Kenyan presidents to show the country’s commitment to stop poaching. Afterwards, you will also drive around in search of the parks diverse wildlife. In the course of the game drive, you will visit one of the several picnic sites to have a short break. In case you have more time and at extra cost, there is an optional visit to the Nairobi Animal Orphanage. It is located in the Nairobi National Park. The orphanage serves as treatments and rehabilitation center for wild animals. The orphanage is home to lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, serval cats, warthogs, leopards, various monkeys, baboons and buffalo. Various birds call the orphanage home including parrots, guinea fowls, crowned cranes and ostriches. Another optional place to visit is the safari walk which is another attraction in Nairobi National Park. It is made up of raised wooded boardwalk that allows viewing of wildlife housed in the area. Visitors can view wildlife which they expect to see in Kenya’s game parks. It has a rich species of local trees. After the tour, you will go back to the airport or your hotel.

The Safari Walk is a conservation facility designed to enhance visitors' appreciation of Kenya's flora and fauna. It is a showcase of Kenya's vast natural diversity. The Nairobi Safari Walk provides visitors with an experience of Kenya's three ecosystems: the savannas, forests, and wetlands. Located 7 kilometers from Nairobi city, the Nairobi Safari Walk gives visitors a clear picture of what to look forward to in Kenyan National Parks. Walk along the raised boardwalk, through the different habitats, and observe from close range the wonderful variety of wildlife in each ecosystem. The raised wood walkways provide soaring views out over the shimmering stretches of savanna in the Nairobi National Park with observation points down onto waterholes and the wildlife that frequent them. Meander through 27 acres of wilderness, the Nairobi Safari Walk offers a neatly encapsulated walking safari. See animals such as antelopes and gazelles such as bongo, gazelle (Thomson's), gnu (white-bearded), and impala. Other ungulates and mammals include buffalo (Cape) and warthog (common). Nairobi Safari Walk starts the journey by picking you up from your Nairobi hotel at 8am. First stop is the Nairobi Safari Trail, an eye-opening tour of Kenya's parks and reserves. It gives you an opportunity to get a sense of what you can expect to see across the country. You'll admire Kenya's rich collection of animals, including rare bongos, white rhinos, albino zebras, cats, antelopes and primates. New South Wales also has about 150 species of native trees. Also learn about their various traditional uses. Nairobi safari trails are designed to blend in with the natural environment. It is made of sisal and rubber poles. Interestingly, even the trash cans and lampshades are covered. 2: Nairobi Animal Orphanage. The next stop will be at the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, whose main purpose is to house orphaned, injured and abandoned wild animals from all over the country. The facility houses native and exotic wildlife in beautifully maintained enclosures. Ingredients depend on the animal being rescued. You may see: lions, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, warthogs, buffalo, different species of apes, guinea fowl, crested cranes and more. 3 Bomas of Kenya We will take you for lunch (optional at your own expense) and then drive to Bomas, Kenya. Kenya Bomas is the cultural center of Langata, close to the main entrance to Nairobi National Park. Talented resident artists perform traditional dances and songs from various tribal groups in the country, including Arab-influenced Swahili talab music, Kalenjin warrior dances, Embu drumming and Kikuyu circumcision ceremonies. Sure, it's a touristy place, but it was still a wonderful afternoon. Then return to Nairobi hotel.
