After getting picked up from your hotel in Nairobi, head to the Giraffe Center, where you can see giraffes living in a semi-wild state. Learn about their behaviors, traits and conservation efforts.  You will also get the opportunity to feed these gentle giants.  Next, head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Take a walk through the center where baby elephants wait to be fed. Watch them play in the water, gargle their milk, and discover each elephant's personal stories.  Once the youngest is fed, it's time to feed the 2-3-year-olds, some of whom are old enough to feed themselves. Watch as they hold their giant milk bottles in their trunks and make quick work of several gallons of milk.  Your final stop before heading back to Nairobi will be the Kazuri Beads Factory. Get the opportunity to admire the beautiful beads and pottery which have been handcrafted by African women.

Arrive at David Sheldrick Park at 10:45 AM for a one-hour introductory presentation. Ask questions and get up close and personal with the beautiful, friendly elephants under the supervision of trained professionals. The Sheldrick Trust is a pioneering conservation organization, dedicated to the protection of wildlife and the preservation of habitats in East Africa. After spending time with these incredible animals, enjoy a visit to the local wood crafts store for a quick shopping stop before checking out a kazuri beads factory. Next, enjoy an optional lunch at any restaurant the driver will advise before being driven back to your lodging.

The tour starts by picking you from your Hotel/Home within Nairobi 9:30AM. We will drive you to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust have a walk through the little center from 11am - 12pm in an open space, with a rope fence around it. The youngest elephants come trotting out of the bush to greet their keepers who stand at the ready with giant bottles of milk. For the next 10-15 minutes you can watch each little one slurp and gargle their milk. When they're done, there's water to play with and keepers to nudge and get hugs from. While you get to watch them play and take photos. You find out how old they were when they arrived at the orphanage, where they were rescued from, and what got them into trouble. The most common reasons for getting orphaned being: mother's poached, falling into wells, and human/wildlife conflict. Once the youngest are all fed, they are led back into the bush, and it's the turn of the 2-3 year olds. Some of them can feed themselves, and some are still fed by their keepers. It's very cute to watch them hold their giant milk bottles in their trunks and close their eyes with joy as they make quick work of several gallons of milk.

This is a short tour which begins from your hotel at pick up and end with a drop off from your initial pick up location, you will visit the elephant orphanage and see them being fed , play in the mud and listen to the conservation work and efforts by the home of baby elephants.. Best known for our work to protect elephants, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust operates the most successful orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. the traditional beading skills of the Maasai women to help them make products that are of higher standards and are both relevant and acceptable to a wider audience. We now have the first Maasai beaded Apple Watch bands ethically made following fair trade principles. They also make belts, bracelets, collars and other beaded products and our work is to provide the support and the platform for these amazing women to amplify their work.

On this day the driver/guide picks the guests from the hotel as early as 5.45a.m in order to avoid possible traffic and increase the chances of capturing action in the park.The game drive will run for about four and a half hours.This time is spent in search of the wild animals in this beautiful park.The animals here include the big four and other lesser animals. Mind you this is not a zoo but real wild.The drive here is in a tourist vehicle which has an open close type roof that allows the guests to have a better view of animals and also take great photos.All this time our guests are in the company of an experienced driver/guide. At around 10.15a.m the guests will exit the park and proceed to David Sheldrieks elephant orphanage.This attraction is open daily for one hour, 11a.m to 12 noon.The experience here is amazing.The guests will get up close to the baby elephants and watch them as they drink their milky formulae and as they take mud baths to cool their bodies.During this time there is a narrator who describes each and every baby elephant and where it was rescued.It is sensational! Thereafter the guests are transferred to giraffe centre which is fifteen minutes away.The experience here is incredible.Ever thought of being less than one foot away from the tallest creatures on earth? Go experience it! It is now around 1.pm and the guests will break for lunch at a great spot of their choice or the driver/guide will share his opinion. The day ends with a visit to the famous Bomas of Kenya."Boma" is a swahili word which means homestead and so Boma with an "s" is plural for many homesteads.In Kenya we have a total of 42 tribes and it is in this place where a few tribes,not all are represented through dances in their different regalias.The entertainment here is overwhelming! After a long and enjoyable day the guests are dropped to their respective hotels/residences.

Mingle with baby elephants and observe rare species of giraffes in this fun and exciting animal tour to The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Giraffe Center. Start your tour with pickup from your accommodation in Nairobi and head to the The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which is only open from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Meet baby and teenage elephants and hear the moving stories of how they arrived at the trust.  Next, you will be driven to the Giraffe Center where you will learn more about the conservation efforts to protect endangered species like the Rothschild’s giraffe. Feed and take pictures with the giraffes. Discover the beautiful artwork at the Kazuri Beads factory. See how the pottery company makes these beads and hear about the mother’s that work there.

Get picked up by your friendly driver/guide at 8 am from your hotel and leave for the giraffe center arriving at around 9 am depending on traffic conditions. Upon arrival at the center, learn about the giraffes' history and stories from your guide. Get up close and personal with the different species, feed them and even give them a kiss.  Next, head to the elephant orphanage where you will get to see baby elephants who have been rescued after being orphaned in the wild. Learn about the baby elephants from your guide and hear about what goes into caring for them. Finally, head to Carnivore restaurant in Nairobi, considered one of Africa's greatest eating experiences. Enjoy a variety of exotic meats roasted to perfection before heading back to your hotel. 

After a brief introduction, proceed to Nairobi National Park for an early morning game drive. See more than 100 different species of animals including lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, rhinos, zebras, gazelles, elands, wildebeests, hyenas and so many more. Next, visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Since its inception, the orphanage has hand-reared more than 150 baby elephants that were orphaned in the wild, often due to poaching. The orphanage helps to reintegrate these gorgeous creatures into the wilds of Tsavo National Park in the east of the country. Learn more about this fascinating venture and see the baby elephants being fed by their keepers. Proceed to the Giraffe Center. The center has been ostensibly set up as a breeding center for the endangered Rothschild giraffe, but now operates conservation/education programs for Kenyan school children. Meet the resident giraffes face-to-face before heading to an enclosed homestead, the Bomas, each one Bomas represents one of Kenya's major ethnic groups. Sit back and enjoy traditional songs and dances showcased by different ethnic groups.

You will begin your Nairobi tour with pickup from your hotel and a short drive to the Nairobi National Park. Once having arrived there you will take a game drive through the park for the chance to see animals such as rhinos and lions without having to leave the confines of the city. This Nairobi National Park day tour is a half-day trip to see lions, rhinos, buffalo, and various other animals in the Nairobi National Park and to view the wildlife in this great area. The Nairobi National Park was established in 1942 as a place of recreation by the colonial settlers right next to the bustling and growing city. Highlights of the tour include the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Giraffe Center. Throughout your tour, you will be granted breaks for both lunch and for shopping, and at the conclusion of your tour you will be returned back to your accommodation.

After being picked up from your hotel at 9:00 AM, start your tour at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Learn about how the baby elephants are rescued and taken care off. Continue to the giraffe center, where you can take the opportunity to feed the giraffes. Enjoy a relaxing stroll through the nature park.   Next head to the Karen Blixen Museum. Spend 2 hours there, discovering the life and history of the famous Out of Africa author. Then stop for a delicious lunch at Mamba Village. After lunch, continue the Bomas of Kenya where 42 Kenyan tribes are represented. Watch performances of traditional folk songs and acrobatic shows. Visit the traditional houses and get a glimpse of how communities lived in ancient Africa. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to Nairobi and returned to your hotel in the late afternoon.
