Full description
Following an early pickup from your accommodation in Nairobi, take a short ride to the Nairobi National Park going straight for an adventurous game drive. Discover the park and all its major animals. Experience the sight of wildlife grazing majestically against the backdrop of the city skyline. The game drive will run up to 11:00 AM. After, head to the Giraffe Center, a nonprofit organization that helps educate people about endangered animals and environmental protection. Learn about giraffes from the guides and have the option to feed them by hand under the supervision of trained staff. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust elephant and rhino orphanage inside the western end of Nairobi National Park offers a wonderful opportunity to see baby elephants being fed milk from bottles. The keepers will give you a lecture on each of them, explaining their names and the stories of how they were orphaned. It’s a great place to go and adopt a baby elephant.

Well, we saw a lot of wildlife. It's an early start but the animals were up and busy. No kill on our trip but mating lions, black and white rhinos, jackals and all the grazers. Crocs in the mid distance with the hippos. The orphan elephant visit was sweet - they are doing a good job. The giraffe meeting is slightly surreal but fun. Our guide James was knowledgable and good. Things to be prepared for: nail down the pick up time and place. Our Airbnb was not in the radius and we had to take a taxi to a meeting point which added a fair amount to the cost. Best to advise customers to get accommodation close to Wilson Airport. You can pay your park entrance by card but other entrance fees are in cash so be prepared. It can be quite chilly early in the morning. Take something warm to wear. The trip lasts until early afternoon but we had a refreshment stop. Can recommend this tour.

Guide at the top, excellent support, the canon national park, the giraffe park is more of an enclosure but it is a nice experience and the elephant orphanage is closed. The planned 7h excursion is shortened to 4h + 1h30 wait at the restaurant ... and the manager called our guide to quickly bring us back to the airport to send him to pick up other clients. We spoke with the manager because he did not respect the excursion as a whole or the planned timing. Answer: "you saw the national park and the giraffes the elephant orphanage is closed, it's not my fault, so it's a good excursion, we'll take you back" ..... What a pity, it had started so well, we ended on a disappointing note. We know that with the covid tour does not work as usual but to specify it would be I think Normal .... Thanks again to the guide who was great.
