Nairobi: Nakuru National Park and Lake Naivasha Day Tour

The guide is very friendly and knowledgeable. We are happy to see many animals. It is sad that now some part of Lake Nakulu has land degradation, and the sand storm keeps us away from seeing flamingo closely. Hope it can get better during rainy season. Also the boat ride (1hr) feels a bit too short to enjoy the place. I wish I could stay there longer!

Vores chauffør og guide, Danson, var hyggelig, imødekommende og ikke mindst informativ om alle stederne vi kørte forbi og alle dyrene vi så. Han sørgede for at vi sad godt og komfortabelt på den 3 timers lange rejse til Lake Nakuru National Park og havde i tillæg taget vand med til os. I Lake Nakuru National Park så vi mange fugle, flamingoer, næsehorn, zebraer og mange flere. Danson havde stor viden om alle dyrene og svarede på alle spørgsmålene vi havde. Vi vidste ikke at “Black rhino” egentlig ikke var sort, men havde samme farve som “White rhino”, men forskellen hellere var i hvordan deres mund var formet. Så vi lærte mange nye ting 😊 Ved Lake Naivasha spiste vi middagsmad på hotellet og tog derefter på en 1 times bådtur, hvor vi så flodheste og mange forskellige fugle. Alt i alt havde vi en fantastisk dag i selskab med Danson, og selvom det var mange timers kørsel frem og tilbage til Nairobi, var det hele turen værd! Tusind tak for turen Danson, den var fantastisk!

A once-in-a-lifetime experience! Our driver Danson went above and beyond to show us all the wildlife at Lake Nakuru. Totally recommend this activity, it was such an incredible day! That being said, we also did the optional boat ride but it wasn't worth the $80 we paid just to see a family of hippos. This, however, has nothing to do with the overall activity, since the boat ride was optional. Just a thought for those considering the boat ride.
