Full description

Day one begins with pickup from Nairobi and travels along the Great Rift Valley towards the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Stop along the way to soak up the view from a magnificent lookout, then arrive at the park just in time for lunch.

Later, set out on an epic evening game drive across the rich, tree-studded grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Maasai Mara is renowned for its great herds of black-maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and virtually every type of Kenyan wildlife. After a restful night’s sleep at your camp, enjoy a picnic-style breakfast to set you up for day two. Head out on a full-day game drive, with a visit to the Mara River which is home to a large concentration of animals.

Once you’ve worked up a bit of an appetite, have lunch at a viewpoint overlooking the crocodiles and hippos lazing in the river.

Afterward, you have the option to visit a Maasai cultural village to gain insight into the homes and social structure of the Maasai people as well as how they live in harmony with the environment and the animals. Wake up early on day three with another fantastic game drive, then re-energize with a late breakfast before departing to Nakuru National Park. Stop over for a picnic lunch along the way and soak up views of the magnificent Kenyan landscape that surrounds you.

Arrive in Nakuru and, if time allows, pass by Naivasha for a boat ride to Crescent Island. Day four begins with a hearty, early morning breakfast followed by a tour through Nakuru Park, which is home to over 350 species of birds including colorful flamingos.

The park is also home to black and white rhinos and has been established for the protection of endangered species such as this. After an unforgettable four-day experience, relax and reflect on the return journey to your hotel or airport in Nairobi.

The tour was great. Our guide Charles is very experienced and not only guided us through Masai Mara (Big Five in 6 hours :)) amazing, but also organized the trip in such a way that we could be at Lake Nakuru for a long time and also had time for the boat trip. We were with our children (14 and 16) and just enjoyed it. We slept in tents, don't worry :) big tents with the wonderful Helen and on the tour to Nakuru in a nice hotel. Best tour ever Charles, best guide ever. Try to get him. Thank you for this incredibly beautiful experience.

Very inexpensive and really worthwhile safari! We were picked up in good time in front of our apartment and drove with two other travelers to our accommodation near the Masai Mara (approx. 4 hours). The accommodation was superb, with ensuite shower and toilet facilities and the food was delicious. There was electricity for about 2.5 hours in the morning and evening to charge the smartphone, camera and co. On the safaris, our guide Peter gave his all, so we could see the Big 5 up close. Simply impressive. On the third day we continued to Naivasha. The boat tour on the lake was very worthwhile, we saw many hippos and different birds. In the evening we again reached a great accommodation in Nakuru. The Lake Nakuru National Park was also very impressive, here we were able to observe the rhinos, flamingos, water buffalo and giraffes. The safari was really worth it and I recommend it!

Hello, everyone ! I found it very annoying that there was no reasonable rating before my trip and no one knew which safari is the best. In addition, I called several safari in Germany and the prices were about 2000 euros for 5 nights. I am a regular at Getyourguide and so far I have never been disappointed. I can recommend this safari to you. We saw everything and of course the camp was completely normal, but it's ok. It is not worth taking something expensive. The safari is important and the safari was beautiful. You can write to the company and you can also do Amboseli for 2 nights. I've only done Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru; you also go to Naivascha See and you can have lunchtime with hippos;)) in Naivascha Resort. Fantastic !!! Everything fantastically beautiful, really gorgeous. As always, 5 stars for Getyourguide. You can also book a safari from the town, but for foreigners the prices are really high and that is really the best alternative. Really gorgeous.
