I had an amazing tour with Titus. We went on a game drive at Lake Nakuru where I spotted several animals and birds. Later, we visited Lake Naivasha where I saw hippos and a variety of birds. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing day trip - Titus our guide was extremely knowledgeable about animals and Kenya in general. He made sure to stop every time we wanted to take some pictures and to ask if we preferred to stay in certain locations of continue. The drive from Nairobi to Nakuru is a bit long but scenery along the way is very interesting. Nakuru park is gigantic and aside from zebras, impalas, monkeys, etc., we were lucky to see two lions, and a hippo outside of the water. Lake Naivasha is also well worth the detour, the boat ride is very peaceful and it’s interesting to see the animals on Crescent Island from afar. I would recommend (if enough time in Kenya) to walk around with the animals on Crescent Island. I recommend this tour without hesitation if your time in Kenya is not very long. The fact that all logistical aspects are taken care of is also a real plus.

Full description

Your adventure begins at 6:00 AM with pickup in Nairobi. From there you'll head straight to Lake Nakuru National Park. The Lake is renowned as a bird sanctuary with over 400 bird species at times. There can be up to two million greater and lesser flamingoes and tens of thousands of other birds at Lake Nakuru. As a result the park is referred to as the "Birds' Paradise". The National Park is also a rhino sanctuary with excellent wildlife viewing. You'll enjoy wildlife viewing as soon as you enter the park gates, and when it's time for lunch, you'll stop at the lodge where you can purchase a meal at a local restaurant(own expense)  After lunch, continue to enjoy wildlife viewing on the drive out of the park. You'll leave the park at approximately 3:00 PM and head to Lake Naivasha for an optional 1-hour boat ride. If you'd like to include the boat ride, be sure to select the correct option when making your booking. On the boat ride, enjoy bird watching, eagle feeding, and hippo viewing. At the end of the boat ride, you'll head back to Nairobi for a 6:00 PM arrival.

Amazing trip to lakes Nakuru and Naivasha. The scenic drive alone was worth it. The views of the rift valley were breathtaking. We didn’t get to see any flamingos but DID see a lion up close literally walking alongside our vehicle. Took a break at the Nakuru lodge I think it’s called, beautiful view of the lake. Special shout out to Simon our guide who was so knowledgeable, calm, and overall a lovely person! Ask for Simon !
