We had a great time on this trip. it's essentially 3 parts: firstly it's the drive, Isaiah was a great driver and also let us skip the lunch so we can return to Nairobi sooner. My favourite part was the cycling in Hells gate. Daniel was an excellent guide and showed us the canyon and we saw a lot of animals on our journey. Lastly, we enjoyed the boat ride. Jeffery was really informative about all the different kinds sof birds and wildlife. We saw loads! Overall, we were really pleased with this tour. I was surprised that that we were the only ones, essentially having a private tour. I would definitely recommend booking this.

1. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya’s smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot. A game walk or bicycle (optional ) ride amid gracefully grazing gazelles, larger antelopes, Zebras and Giraffe is a delightful experience Take a nature walk at the shores of the lake and a boat ride to view Hippos, Buffalo, waterbuck, Antelope, Giraffes, Zebra among others.

2. Hell's Gate National Park is a park located between Lake naivasha and the longonot and suswa volcanoes. It is covered by ashes from the longonot eruption which occurred 100 years ago, the park is famous for its geothermal station, Lower Gorge, and spectacular scenaries (cliffs, volcanoes gorges, geothermal steam).

  • A good physical condition is required for the bike ride.

We enjoyed the day and the scenic views while cycling through Hell’s gate were gorgeous. The lunch is a buffet, which is quite expensive at about 25$, we could have avoided that for sure. The boat ride later, was also definitely NOT worth the cost, so if possible you’d be better off skipping that ride.
